Racing game enthusiasts may know the NASCAR Heat Game franchise but NASCAR 21: Ignition game intends to take the official name of the racing series somewhat differently. Whereas 704 Games built the NASCAR Heat Games and run the Unity games engine, Motorsport Games Inc. is developing this new product, using the more up-to-date Unreal engine, and Studio 397's realistically powered rFactor physics motor.

Despite the all-new game engine and far more realistic car physics, NASCAR 21: Ignition offers similar game modes, including the "Race Now" game, that lets them jump in a race and compete as their favorite NASCAR Cup driver. The NASCAR 21: Ignition offers a full career mode, which enables the player to "gain his sporting reputation and fight for his chamber It will also be possible to compete online with up to 40 people at a time. Naturally, full licensed automobiles will also be present from Chevy, Ford, and Toyota.

While NASCAR 21: Ignition starts on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, users have the right to free PlayStation 5 and Xbox series X/S upgrades after startup.
